Tone is like a Chef everyone has their own secret ingredients and techniques![]()
Classic !!My fave Fractal rig this month is a Boss OD-1 into a JCM800 2204 (Brit800) , funnily that was my rig whan I was around 16!
Just a killer combo.
I like it. Tone Is In The Cooking.![]()
I look at pedal dirt and amp dirt as two totally different things. Some songs sound better with amp drive, some sound better with pedal drive, and others sound best with a combination of the two.
Usually I go for pedal overdrive when I want a tighter, more focused overdrive with more compression. And I go for amp overdrive when I want more open, less compressed, more dynamic/responsive sounds.
A Nobles would be great, as would a BD-2. Im also not entirely thrilled with the TubeScreamer model. I feel like it could be done better
I went on a tweaking trip tonight, trying about 3/4 of the amps in the Axe, and I tried boosting 3 ways: w/ a drive (I tried just a few; it was already very time-consuming), the amp boost, and the built-in boost on my Majesty. Whew!I look at pedal dirt and amp dirt as two totally different things.
What now?Need a Paisley and a Sovereign
A lot of these ODR-1 variants and improvements are basically 90% the same components, with things like bass cut added. Nothing you couldn't do with the EQ controls offered in the Fractal Drive block.Would you not prefer the Norland Electronics ODR-C over the Nobels?
Maybe ask the roughly three generations of guitarists that use both to create tones that you can’t get from either alone.Who needs drive pedals when you have amps?

Model the Kustom Double Kross, with all of the switches. The page for real controls and ideal controls would be pretty much the same. Lol
What now?
Dude. My username. Paisley. You said Paisley drive. I was joking.Well, I can't tell if you are cork sniffing, or just been hiding under a rock for the last ten years. Report immediately Mr. Wampler for some remedial Country training!
