Fractal Audio Systems AM4 - Amp Modeler

Put the pedals in one of the FM9 loos and have that as the first thing in the FM9 signal path.

The AM4 loop is a fixed analog loop after the digital-to-analog conversion but before the balanced outputs. Its purpose is to provide allow you to still use the balanced outs of the AM4 even when using additional pedals post instead of needing to include a DI box in that scenario.
Even though you'd have to use an audio interface to record, it's actually cool because there's no additional AD there. Well, I guess it's a wash, depending on your interface's latency.

Second bullit point
My question was basically if it still had the stripped down "TS, FAS Boost, etc." style OD's in the amp block, saving a slot if all you wanted was the typical "volume up, drive down" type boost you'd use with a Recto, for example. I realize now there's additionally an output boost too, but that appears to be more of a post amp clean boost (which is cool too).
