Fractal Audio Systems AM4 - Amp Modeler

Ahh but I think you can approximate circular with the dual can you not , IIRC there is a note on the Fractal wiki how to do that Landau thing

Yes, it's an 1/8th note and 1/4 note dual delay with cross feedback. If you want the PCM70 circular matched to the hardware there's an existing type in the MTD block that captures all the nuances of the old Lex preset.

While you've got amps, cabs & fx in abundance you've also got controllers & modifiers in there. Controlling gain/fx mix with the PITCH of your guitar is will never get old.

The insert is kind of a bummer. I was pretty sure I would buy it. I still might but not sure knowing I can’t use it in place of my stomp with my current configuration. It’s an almost perfect device for a pedalboard. I guess I could just put everything into the input, but it really limits options for effects order.

Quoting Cliff:

"The idea is you put your pre effects before the unit and your post effects (should you need any) in the insert. The outputs of the AM4 are balanced and designed to be sent directly to FOH and/or monitors. If you just put your post effects after the unit you would then need a DI to go to FOH."

I just read that in the wiki, unfortunately doesn’t change my opinion though. What if I want to use modulation in the AM4, and an external delay pedal before the amp block?
