Literally, Steve Vai's personal amp was modeled IIRC.Awesome! I have the real one so should be interesting to compare.

Well, isn't he special!Literally, Steve Vai's personal amp was modeled IIRC.

I just read that in the wiki, unfortunately doesn’t change my opinion though. What if I want to use modulation in the AM4, and an external delay pedal before the amp block?
If that's an absolutely hard requirement for you, this might not be the product for you then. The AM4 is, for it's size and price point, incredibly flexible. But not all use scenarios are going to be possible at this price point. The FM3 would allow for what you want though. As would the FM9 and AFIII.I just read that in the wiki, unfortunately doesn’t change my opinion though. What if I want to use modulation in the AM4, and an external delay pedal before the amp block?
Wouldn’t work for me because I want to use fractal effects before (and after) delay. No big deal, I won’t beat a dead horse, still an awesome product for sure and very tempting.I don't want or need to change your opinion. I'm just supplying information. :)
External Delay: place it before the AM4?
More like the Fractal version of the Pod Go, IMO
And not plasticIt’s kind of deceiving though it is a 4 block chain but each of those blocks has 4 channels
So yes it fixed blocks but it’s 4 different amps , 4 different reverbs. 4 delays 4 drives etc
That's now one model, with switches. That has been done for all models, where possible.
Very clean looking, I much prefer this than current FM editView attachment 55447
Basic section of a amp. If you want to dig deeper, click expert edit bottom left for much more control.
I was about to say, the Insert feature is incredibly useful (no need for additional DI for FOH). Solves an existing problem for me when building out pedalboards.Quoting Cliff:
"The idea is you put your pre effects before the unit and your post effects (should you need any) in the insert. The outputs of the AM4 are balanced and designed to be sent directly to FOH and/or monitors. If you just put your post effects after the unit you would then need a DI to go to FOH."
Nice!!! Well deserved (and yes, FAS gas was real!)Yes as my signature sayslol <3
Sounds fantastic + great playing. Got me FAS gassing again
Ya I noticed that to like the Euro blue / Red there is no modern so guessing there is now a vintage/ modern switch in the authentic pageOh wow I see some of the models have been consolidated. Nice.
Cab blend looks new too ?The beautiful cab section for dyna-cabs and you also have option to select user cabs!

No... 4 blocks."It runs five blocks, so we should call it AM5, right?" "Nah, let's just call it an AM4 to fuck with people."
