There’s always something. I’m fine with putting my fuzzes and overdrives in front, but would really like to be able to put my delay and modulation pedals in an insert between an effect block and the amp/cab block.

Seems cool. I don't really need something as complex as FM3, so it's possible I switch to this one eventually, depending on how much I can sell fm3 for.

Update --- ah, saw the price. That's 899 euros in Europe. May as well keep fm3, this considered.

IMHO smoothing has lost its added value with the recent introduction of Auto Delay / Auto Align.

Ya know when I saw that in recent firmware that what I thought might be going on
If it one thing I have learned being a Fractal customer over the past many years it is that Cliff never gives up
And if there is something that is to cpu intensive and can’t be worked in the smaller units he is going to keep
Looking for others ways to accomplish it and be able to implement it

It’s probably one of the things I have noticed most with FAS is don’t bet against them , it might not be instant but I don’t think the wheels ever stop turning or thinking about how to solve a puzzle

So is the hardware same as the VP4? Are we going to get an underground modded firmware that can load AM4 on the VP4?

The processor in the AM4 is faster than the VP4.

Whomever was robbing your common sense (for whatever reason) has been quite successful.

Ahh but I think you can approximate circular with the dual can you not , IIRC there is a note on the Fractal wiki how to do that Landau thing

IMO this is a lot of bang for the buck, when I first saw this today I thought it was AI
I honestly thought they would do an Amp box but figured no fx or at most a little reverb
This far exceeds my expectations in that price point

It’s kind of deceiving though it is a 4 block chain but each of those blocks has 4 channels
So yes it fixed blocks but it’s 4 different amps , 4 different reverbs. 4 delays 4 drives etc
