Not this time. I did before, but right now the vp4 is in the inserts of the AM4.

However I may change back once I move these boxes on top of my axe-fx 3 and put them into axe-fx 3 for more POWER!

This...is going to require me to remind myself over and over and over and over and over again that selling the Axe III/FC12 and replacing with this will NOT save me money in the long run....

I don’t think I’ll ever sell the III, even when the IV gets released. It’s always going to be an elite tier Fx processor. Seeing how Tascam 4 track preamps are having a moment, or insert insanely priced 80’s rack fx units, you know some dude name MK.Geezer will be revered for going “retro” and using a III in like 25 years, and they’ll be going for like $17,346 on Reverb.

Damn that's a great solution, specially in a package that size/cost. I reckon 90% of y'all will never need more than four blocks.

This is pretty much the perfect hx stomp competitor. And it looks like the amp block has cab and room reverb built in, which covers 3 blocks on my stomp, so it’s really not too limiting either.

Basically no pitch block
No mega tap , no multi delays
No vocoder or formant

Other than that and 4 channels 4 block limit looks like your golden

IMHO smoothing has lost its added value with the recent introduction of Auto Delay / Auto Align.

If anyone wants to know the size of AM4 next to VP4 it's roughly 20 inches which is just about the same size of FM9.

The list is trimmed down a bit but the essential stuff is in there. We removed things like "Viscous Homologater Diode Reverse Leakage Gamma Flux" and such.

How is effects loop implemented? Anywhere in chain? Is there looper?
