FM3 Effects Loop

I was going to snag a HX Effects to pair with the Friedman IRX. After a few pedal sales I'm curious if I should just snag a FM3 to use with the Friedman.

However, I have heard in the past the FM3 isn't necessarily made for effects only. Id plan on putting the Friedman into input/output 2 and then the output 1 for traditional output.

Anyway, has anyone had experience with this? Any tone loss, noise, etc.

Yes, no problem for me in 4CM just had to get my levels right, have used it w/ the Syn30 and the 5153 50S. I would take it over HXFX all day every day.

Thank you! Yeah there is a decent gap when looking at the used HX FX market but you get so much more with the FM3
