I'm not a Fender connoisseur - which Fender amps are missing ?
No Tweed Deluxe, no Tweed Twin, no Champ, no Brownface amps, no Showman, no Vibroverb…

I thought those required a midi pickup, shows what I know…SY stuff is all I have regularly used.
So if someone is synth-curious, wants it to be poly, and doesn’t want to put a midi pickup on a guitar, is there anything out there that is good?
SY1000 can be used with a hex pickup but doesn't have to be.I thought those required a midi pickup, shows what I know…

Fender Bassman TV - Esoteric 2000's 1x15" bass amp that apparently Justin Meldal-Johnsen had been asking for. As long as he's happy.

The original Bassman amps introduced in 1952 had a 1x15” and are known as “TV” models because of the styling of the front panel.
Is the new model really one of the 2000’s reissues or is it the original Bassman TV model?
Ooops didn't notice this thread:
Updated model guide: https://www.fmicassets.com/Damroot/Original/10128/OM_2274900000_Tone-Master-Pro-Model-Guide-G_EN.pdf
New drives (amps covered above)
- pre-amp section of SDD-3000 delay => SDD-Boost
- Xotic EP Booster => XO Boost
- Boss Blues Driver => Sapphire Drive
- Hermida Audio Zendrive => Namaste Drive
That's not actually what I want. I really just want a couple dozen actual classic Fenders, then the notion that a slow trickle (like we have now) will continue - but without them spending so many resources on amps that are anything but classic.Honestly, you'd probably be a lot happier if you just sold the TMP. If you're looking for a comprehensive collection of Fender amps something like a Tonex or Kemper would be a better choice. You'd have hundreds of different amps to choose from, vintage to modern.
Wait, am I imagining things or is the TMP the only modeler that has the blues driver besides Boss modelers?

This would indeed drive me nuts if I was a Fender freak. That's not actually what I want. I really just want a couple dozen actual classic Fenders, then the promise that a slow trickle (like we have now) will continue - but without them spending so many resources on amps that are anything but classic.
Also, after years of having a Tonex, I determined that captures simply don't work for me. Let's just take that as read. The whole appeal of the TMP for me was the idea of the interface paired with what I understandably thought would be the best pick from Fender's amp history. But they the TMP team doesn't care for Fender's amp history (or present -m how about a Pano-Verb?), so we get whatever bland stuff is apparently dictated to them by marketing - "blonde" (change the speaker and mod the bright cap) Tone Masters, Blues Juniors, Bassbreakers. A few good ones as well, but yeah. Meh.
I've been using the TMP as a practice device. I may indeed sell it. We'll see.

Fair question. I do not truly know. The model list says "From the cult-classic Bassman TV series," which to me implies the newer one, but I can't say for certain. You'd think they'd mention '52 if that was it.The original Bassman amps introduced in 1952 had a 1x15” and are known as “TV” models because of the styling of the front panel.

They’re also the only one with a Blues Junior.
I'll just use the FM9. No need for the TMP at all in that case.Run the FM9 in the TMPs loop and have access to all the cool amps.
