I feel like I'm pushing the definition of a "pedal" here, but probably the Tone King Imperial preamp pedal:

If I'm allowed to push the definition even further, I'd perhaps say my Fractal VP4.

Pretty sure I've only bought the Carcosa fuzz. Great pedal.

But I just ordered the The Eisenhower Fuzz from Danelectro. It should fill that octave fuzz void nicely for me.
@DrewJD82 , I'll let you know how it plays out since you've been octave curious lately -- should be here on Monday.

I will be interested to hear how you get on with the Danelectro ?
I love pretty much all of there older plastic & metal pedals .
Design classics back in the day Not just boxes 👍

Their pedals have always seemed to have a cult following for sure. This will be the first pedal of theirs I've had though.
I've always loved the Danelectro guitar designs. One of my favorite guitars I ever owned was a '56 U2 reissue I bought in the late 90's.

The Eisenhower is hands down my favorite cheap Super Fuzz. Sonically, it's up there with various boutique offerings, and its FZ-2 style 2-band EQ makes it pretty flexible.

I've done quite a bit of A/B against Tru-Fi, Idiotbox, and a well-executed DIY clone of the Fuzz Master General ("Fuzz Cadet"). They're all good, but the RI Fuzz Master General and Eisenhower came out on top.

Good to hear! That was a big reason I picked it, because of it's relation to the Univox, FZ-2. The Wringer fuzz in HX is a favorite of mine and it's based off a modded FZ-2, so I figured the Eisenhower would get me in the ballpark. From the small amount of clips I've heard, it seems to have the qualities I'm looking for. (y) Can't wait to give it a spin!

Very similar to the Wringer indeed, actually sounds more refined and "better" to my ears at least.

Your body is ready. 😂

One typical Superfuzz "perk" which applies to the Eisenhower as well - the gain increases as you turn up the volume knob, even with the actual gain knob set rather low (between 9 and 11 o clock).

There really isn't any setting that'll yield low gain, and don't expect cleanup with the guitar volume dialled back.

Cool, I love the quirky nature of fuzzes! Especially with octaves and all the overtones, really yields some nice (or not so nice) textures.
