Fast, Tight, Dry Amps, What You Got?

This got delivered yesterday, so I intend to spend all afternoon playing with it:
Initial impression: It's awesome.
I owned one of these when they came out and I thought it was a cool amp, but I really needed a clean channel. I don't need a clean channel now. I still don't like Ch1 for cleans, but it's great if you want a little hair on them. Also has a cool Marshally bark to it that I'm curious to shoot out against my 101b. Ch2 is awesome. It's tight as hell and requires no boost at all, unlike the Rev Blues I've had. I don't know why this version of the Uber doesn't get more love. I haven't tried the Ultra yet, but I've owned the Blue, Green and this one and the TJ is definitely my favorite

It came Friday. Just spent my first 30 minutes with it.
It's Fryette, so yes, it does the thing.

Wow... can run this into the FX Return of another amp and essentially add
another channel/preamp. It has an FX Loop so you can add in Delay and 'Verb
to the GPDI/IR. I am also going to try to integrate it with my Fractal and
use it in a similar way to how I ended up using the Engl E530 Preamp.

It's staying. 
Got it piped into the Fractal. Not as tight as the Engl, but still great.
Not a bad tone in this gem of a box.
Gonna chill and watch the Tigers play tonight while I run it into a Cab
on the 1Watt mode.

Welp, the 1 Watt Amp into Cab scenario was a one and done kind of thing.
Not a lot of body or oomph.... which is understandable. Kind of pre-ampy.
Again, understandable.
Probably going to enjoy it more in a DI setting for recording and playing
into and through a DAW. Much like the Engl E530. Just a different flavour.

I am not slagging on it. I just don't think it is where it shines.
It'll do in a pinch.Also, my LR Amp has been a Mesa Trem-O-Verb... and that thing sounds amazing.
It is a hard one to knock off the LR Throne.
But yeah, the 1 Watt direct into a Cab mode is very preampy. To my ears.
