Do you prefer to have your expression pedals default setup as heel down or toe down? And why?

I set mine up heel down as default, but there are many presets I have borrowed where the pedal is default toe down. I am just curious as to any pros/cons or if it is simply a personal preference. At my "level" of playing, I need all the advantages I can get, and input from experienced folks is important to me.

Mine usually controls a crossfade, so... yes?

Depends on the target is what I mean to say, I guess.

Toe down makes sense for those who are coming from a traditional wah with a toe activated button, but I always use heel down now.
