Half the price of a Nerual? Links?
But what is this mysterious Nerual to which he refers? He said the ToneX One did the same thing as the QC as well, for $179. Except it can’t capture, doesn’t have the breadth of effects, and is altogether a different product entirely. But hey. He got those clicks, baby!!
It's never a "has to". It's that he chooses to do this. Sure, a more reasonable approach might get you less clicks but at least people will respect you for it. But here we are, talking about this jackass.Maybe that's why Glenn has to clickbait/ragebait every video.
That's one reason why I am enjoying this forum so much though. I have been able to take the piss out of him without giving him a single clickIt's never a "has to". It's that he chooses to do this. His advocacy for good BUT cheaper products for the consumer is admirable. The absolute horrendous way he goes about really everything communicating this advocacy to his viewers is straight up dog poopIt's never a "has to". It's that he chooses to do this. I made it a third of the way through the OP’s video.

It also doesn't have modeling options and it can't load your NDSP pluggins...ok QC can't do the last one but it will SOON.
Maybe he wouldn't contradict himself, because he's not that good a producer either. What notable albums has he produced? And I've never heard anything from him that I couldn't achieve in a home studio. This guy is ALL clickbait.I’d love to book a recording session with him and record the whole thing on video for when he inevitably contradicts 90% of his YouTube content in the process somewhere along the way.
I watched a YT video a month ago talking about how an unbelievable amount of social media content is now just AI slop and I can't unsee it. All these bullshit "articles". And 95% of my feed is not stuff I asked to see. Ugh. Maybe that's why Glenn has to clickbait/ragebait every video.
Yeah but how much cheaper do things even need to be?His advocacy for good BUT cheaper products for the consumer is admirable.
1.5k subs + voice starts to narrate and it is over-enunciated proper English to the hilt; I know it's time to shut if off.The AI bullshit has gotten me to STOP watching anything on ancient civilizations/pyramids/temples on Youtube. Youtube was flooded with BS videos about this stuff already, but once the low effort crew started using AI to pump out videos it’s so saturated with shitty content it’s not even worth infecting your feed by letting one play for more than a minute.

For sure. You get a LOT. But it's still $2k+; so it's not exactly on the same level as buying a$30 tubescreamer clone off Amazon; whether it's worth it or not.Yeah but how much cheaper do things even need to be?
The Axe III is an astounding bang-for-the-buck, even if you only used it for its effects!
You can get all the high-dollar pro-level rack units of back in the day in pedal form for a fraction of what they used to cost.
And any of my EBMM guitars are such a better guitar than the LPC I bought several decades ago, at about half of what it cost in today's dollars.
Oh, and I have a fantastic Neural plugin that can do pretty much any sound that John Petrucci ever recorded, for less than $100! (Ok, it was on sale when I bought it, but still.)
Oh wait, I forgot... I bought a 2nd-hand Korg DAW years ago for a grand, but now have a free one on my laptop that's easier to use, and can run circles around that old dinosaur.
And that's all really nice stuff, but you can drop down several tiers and still have great gear. Fuckin brand new $500 PRS SE CE's at GC right now!
I've never ever, in the 45 years I've been playing guitar had AS much quality gear, for the small amount it cost, when you consider its quality and all it can do.
I can get the job done with a 100 bucks Harley Benton, get it done happily with a 3 bucks HB.Yeah but how much cheaper do things even need to be?

First of, Lolmg:
Secondly:
I don't know what is more epic, the clarity in your response or the comedic value of it![]()
Eh, i think Fractal gear is amazing - and pretty much unmatched when it comes to effects. But no $2,500 rack gear is "bang for the buck".
