Talk to him all the time. [not the recording software.]
Im sure i could benefit from a complete recording software gadget overhaul but i come from the reel to reel 8-track generation.
I have nothing against technology i just dont have time for it i work too much.
Just me & my Zoom Q3HD from 15 years ago LOL.

Can anyone who has an Edwards and calipers measure the neck at the 1st and 12th fret next time you change strings?

I've played Tokais so know what the neck shape feels like. I've never seen an Edwards on the flesh and don't want to order one blind without knowing anything about the neck.

The neck on my Custom feels different than the one on my Standard. Obviously, being a
50's/Vintage offering the Standard neck feels chunkier (slightly) while the Custom neck is
sleeker with that thinner late 60's profile. :idk

I'll get some calipers from a friend and measure them, though, @SillyOctpuss . I could be
wrong and they are exactly the same.

Cheers dude. Don't go to any trouble I'm just interested before deciding what to spend my cash on. It's going to be a goldtop "les paul" I'm just trying to decide between Edwards and tokai at the minute.
I normally buy used but the used prices for any MIJ les paul are uncomfortably close to the price of importing something new at the minute.

Haha! Thanks. Seen those. :beer

Not interested in a Custom with P90s, or a Singlecut Special. I wantz a Doublecut Junior. :love

I wantz what I wantz.

I “need” a P90 guitar, I’ve had it in my head I “need” one with a trem, but I also really, really love these Edwards. :rofl

Sweet. Thanks for that. Those all look to be really light, are they weight relieving them to put out LPs at sub 8lbs?

No, they are all full-bodied LPs. I think they used plantation-grown mahogany from Fiji, which is a fairly light breed(Andy Eagle might know more about this).

Only difference between these and the Gibson LPs I've owned is the name on the headstock (and the Edwards LPs are much higher quality builds).

I hate to agree, because it reads so badly on the Internet. I am even skeptical
of my own conclusions about this.

I caved and bought a Greenie Standard Signature earlier this year to try and
convince myself how wrong I was. 3x the price of an Edwards. It was awful.
Embarrassingly awful. :facepalm

I sent it back.... with a note in the case. :horse

Just from pics the Edwards LPs look higher quality, and better finished than Gibson counterparts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
No offense to anyone, just an outsider's perspective. :whistle
