The Made in Japan ones are very good and similar to the better Edwards but the others should be avoided.

My buddy just changed the nut on mine to a graphite and the tuning is much more stable! It is a working guitar for sure!!
I own a 5k R9 and I will say the tone is 92% as good with my Edwards LP -same bridge pup and the Edwards is about 2lbs lighter

I have a couple MIJ Tokai LPs, as well as a couple Burny models that came out of the Tokai factory.
Honestly each one oozes vibe. I love them all.

Holy crap! Based on the information in the eBay listing, I didn't expect to receive my Edwards LP until December or January at the earliest. Today, however, I suddenly and unexpectedly received shipping information and the guitar has even arrived at customs in Germany. So it should be on my doorstep within the next few days. Damn, I have to hurry up with ordering the EMGs for the guitar. ;-)

Yep, it took less time for me to get a guitar shipped from Japan to Florida than it did for a pedal to travel from 4 states away.
I think it was 5 business days and the guitar was here.

Love my PRS McCarty as an alternative though.
That black beauty is just amazing. I also love the bold cherry burst...as a chid of the 90's the classic cherry sunburst (before fading at relics were the rage) is burned in my brain.
