Meh. My recollection is that he likely left an estate that was in the red, or very close thereto. If the estate is able to pull enough cash out of this to cover its costs and maybe pay out an "we love him, but gawd why couldn't he have tried to reap at least a LITTLE bit of the money his name was generating" amount to the family while also putting the brand in hands of people that are actually archiving aspects of the brand and marking out a little bit of a market memory for the "clone of what?" issue, seems like a good thing for everybody, including the Ghost of Alexander?Seems kinda dumb to me. How on earth did they get the rights to the name? New owners must have had deep pockets and whoever was running D's estate must've seen dollar signs. Dumble wanted the brand to die with him

Reenactment guitarists will have an amp that looks like a dumble, sounds as much like a dumble as anything else they could buy and has the right logo on it though.
Then they can use it at 0.3-0.5 on the volume with their Murphy Lab super aged most accurate ever les paul, master built strat and giant pedalboard full of vintage pedals to butcher the few riffs they actually know.
They'll also undoubtedly be out of tune. The pictures in their gear page posts will also be taken on a camera with a lens that's costs more than my prs.
I'm not jealous though....
I'm just bitter
To be fair, Alexander wouldn't have known how to do that either. So that part of the reissue seems accurate.Bodes well that they can't figure out how to obtain an SSL cert for their website, something that is literally free and provided by even bargain-basement shared hosts.
just as this other Jon does here (brace yourself before watching):
Just get a VPN service, and you can make all the places your "other places".Is this place

TOP were on this way before this thread , and no meltdown! :)“New and exciting product lines and services are in the works”: Dumble is under new ownership – and it will begin making amps again using the elusive amp builder’s “trade secrets”
A newly established Dumble website has confirmed new amps – and other product lines – are on the cards, as well as a complete database of every Dumble ever madewww.guitarworld.com
I honestly don't care ...just surprised it hasn't been posted yet.
Share your thoughts!!! Sure all will be civil!!!
I have heard this from numerous sources myself.I’ll add to this and just say that I thin Dumbles are THE most overhyped amps on the planet. I have played a couple, meh.
