Guess they've had enough of playing to half-full venues. No EU/UK Parasomnia tour next year. They should've gone right out in support of the new album, instead of doing that 40th Anniversary tour, and then coming back around for PS. Everybody had their fill. Except fans like me!

Decided to watch some old Jordan Rudess videos, and in one, he related how they came up with ideas for the 6 Degrees album:

Jordan has recently gotten the Karma keyboard, so he had new inspirational sounds to help trigger his creativity.

John asked him to play something "dramatic and big", and JR whips out an eventual anthem-like motif of one of the songs.
Then he says, play the saddest thing you can come up with, and BAM! Jordan pops out what becomes another main part.

Jordan continues, "He says, "Play this; play that." We had the main ideas written in a short time."

And I'm thinking, AI.

Jordan embraces AI, yet at John's recent camp, someone asked him how he felt about it, and he said (in a roundabout way) he doesn't like it, so I thought it was sort of ironic, since, in a way, Jordan was acting as John's AI at that moment! lol
