Does UPS Slowpost (sorry, Surepost) have tracking?

I ask because I reached out to my Sweetwater sales rep when attempting to track an order. When clicking to track the package, UPS says there is an error. I figured it was temporary, so I checked several hours later. Still the same thing. The response I got was that "Surepost doesn't have tracking," which I am not certain if that is true, as I believe I was able to track my SDE-3000, which was also shipped through Slowpost.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t Surepost the method where they hand the package off to USPS for the final delivery? That would explain why there isn’t tracking.

That said, I’m pretty sure that USPS Informed Delivery should pick it up towards the end.

If memory serves, there is tracking up to and including the USPS hand off, but what do I know?
