Dimehead NAM Player

It'd be interesting to find out which country had the most self-entitled dickheads vs non-self-entitled dickheads vs not dickheads at all.

I suppose the US has a fairly large population, so lots of them, but ... the ratio might be different in other parts of the world.
eg. France or whatever.

In the UK it's probably a bit different again, depending on the country you are in... Wales / Scotland / England / N.I / ROI etc ...

Neeeds a banana for size I guess.

It gets more complicated when a country like the UK, for example, doesn't have "dickheads" per se, rather they've got "bellends". The same thing? Perhaps. But there's a different quality there, I think.

Man, I played once again two gigs the last two weekends, and the NAM Player stood up like a champ.
I just read through all the inpout headroom discussion. I got a v1 and a v2 unit, and yeah, there seems to be a difference in how the input clips, but to be very honest - I kill any dynamics and life with so much gain in my captures, they sound very close. Impossible to differentiate in a live setting.

Man, I love this thing. Especially the I/O of this thing, together with the gapless preset switching is just super cool.

Awesome. Hope the gigs were fun too!

Yeah, the newer units come with some nice improvements all-round, but the v1 units are absolutely fine.

I wish it had more effects. I'd like to use this as an all-in-one rig with just an expression pedal.

Do we know what has been changed / improved in the newer units (?)

Is it internal hardware improvements ?

If not (?) can the original V1 units be upgraded via software/firmware ?
