Dimehead NAM Player

Hello everyone. New Dimehead Nam Player user here! I like so much the device, but the headphone out is very hi-fi to my taste. Any recommendations? Where can I download or buy some great NAM captures for the Nam player? I download some of Tonehunt, but I don't like it so much. Thank you!

@nikitasius, I'm not a techhead at all, but so far it reads to me as if you want Dimehead to publish *all* their technical specs, right?
WTF? I mean, you can't possibly be serious at all. They're selling a commercial product and don't want people to clone their device. As easy as that.
Hi, sure you're not, it is fine and i can explain you:
  • I can buy any device on the market, open it and make a list of components. If it's aren't made in cheap china there are usually all labels on all components.
  • You can clone any hardware you want if you have time, resources and post-office x-ray machine to shot 6-layer PCB with
  • You can clone any software if it's based on well-known solutions like linux and made from opensource components.
I never had Dimehead solution in hands but it looks like smartly modded raspi4 solution. I applause them for their job!

What i'd like them do add:
  • specify DAC/ADC bit/kHz
  • specify THDs
  • specify in clear english that device load the NAM profiles as is and use them without modifications
  • specify in clear english that device load IR profiles upto 4096 samples at 48kHz and use them as it without downscaling samples and the only modification they do could be sample rate adjustement via soxr to match 48kHz if profile have on 44 or 96.

What i'd like them to remove:
2.1. The display of products in the online shop is to be equated with an invitation to place an order and not a legally binding offer. Service descriptions included in catalogues or on the vendor’s websites are not to be equated with either a promise or a guarantee.

@Mr Crownstone Welcome to the forum.

If you're looking to try some commercial offerings, then Amalgam Audio NAM captures.

He (Kārlis) is currently focussing more on Tonex and Quad Cortex captures right now; but there is still a good variety of NAM captures available there.

Sorry but I don't understand the meme. I'm Spanish and English is not my mother tongue.

We have had some problems with some new members creating accounts here and pretending to be somebody that they are not. That is what the mask joke was about.

So 17 pages into this thing; what's the actual hardware piece we are looking at? Is it the rendering in the first post or...?
