Good god man! You make me feel better about myself.I have two QCs. Feel free to make fun of me. I also ordered a Stadium. :)
Why two? I was thinking of getting a second one before the Stadium was announced. If I'm being fully honest the biggest motivator is that I don't like moving it from upstairs to downstairs when I want to jam with my wife.I have two QCs. Feel free to make fun of me. I also ordered a Stadium. :)

Is that what we're calling it these days?I want to jam with my wife.
Don't get confused here. What you're thinking of only requires one single output. And one can at least make do with a single input. Is that what we're calling it these days?
I do set the bar rather low.Good god man! You make me feel better about myself.
You kind of answered your own question. But the long answer has to do with just how much of the I/O I use on my desktop QC. “Exfiltrating” and later reinstalling/ reconfiguring was such an ordeal whenever I wanted to take it out to band practice or whatever. I tried using a different modeler (FM3) as my mobile device for a while, for the sake of variety, but that was just more headaches. Why two? Honestly? I don’t disagree.
Grab a couple of the Novation bags. I've had two of them since 2016 and they're still going!!I don't want a Helix (I like tubes), but the backpack they're showing with it looks pretty sweet.
Yeah, I am all about luggage.![]()
Yeah, I feel that. Unplugging/replugging 1 power, 1 USB, 2 XLRs-outs, 1 headphone, 1 exp pedal, 1 MIDI-in, 1-4 instrument cables, and sometimes send-returns depending on what else I'm running gets to be a lot.You kind of answered your own question. So I wound up with another QC on a little board with battery power. Grab n’ go.
Hoping the Stadium will be intuitive enough that I can eventually go with 1x QC (probably mobile, since it’s smaller and easier to run on battery) and 1x Stadium, without the aforementioned headaches.
Especially when you’re low-level worrying you’ll eventually break something.Yeah, I feel that. Unplugging/replugging 1 power, 1 USB, 2 XLRs-outs, 1 headphone, 1 exp pedal, 1 MIDI-in, 1-4 instrument cables, and sometimes send-returns depending on what else I'm running gets to be a lot.
Thanks! Obviously I need to check them out!Grab a couple of the Novation bags. I've had two of them since 2016 and they're still going!!
I still have this from like 2001 or so. Use it every day to cart stuff to the office and back. A lower corner finally started to unravel.Grab a couple of the Novation bags. I've had two of them since 2016 and they're still going!!
I don’t see the stadium XL really dropping in price much as I think the new thousand dollar mark will become $1700 mark and the $1700 mark will now become $2100 mark or plus or close. Remember when the HD 500 was $500 in the helix came out at 1500 people went crazy, but that was the new norm even bossed it with their GT 1000 versus the older GT that it replaced which was in that five to $600 range and then the GT 1000 came out at what 1000 or over $1000 so I think that these increments are going to be the futureI almost never preorder anything. Been burned too many times in the past. I'm almost always a late follower. I buy modelers with about the same timing as I buy gaming consoles: Around 2 years after release. By then the price has fallen to an acceptable level, they've released an optimized version of the hardware, which doesn't have the same "baby mistakes" as the first batch and enough people have used it and reviewed it for me to make sure that it ticks all my boxes.
All that being said, I'm THIS close to preordering Battlefield 6 for PS5 but that's a story for a whole other forum...
I think it’s MUCH more likely Stadium and Stadium XL go up in price in the future.I don’t see the stadium XL really dropping in price much as I think the new thousand dollar mark will become $1700 mark and the $1700 mark will now become $2100 mark or plus or close. The only one that’s dropped in price is the vendor because they bit off more than they could chew at the TMP and they’re still high priced on that. I think that should’ve come in at $1000.
