Probably the most buzz I’ve seen for a new modeller since the QC was in preorder stages. I’d say they’ve done everything right for this phase of launch, plenty of positive anticipation.

One thread in one fairly Fractal-centric forum is at best anecdotal. We have the actual preorder numbers. They're much higher than we anticipated.

I definitely just meant this thread but yeah overall I think when I put my pre-order in guitar center said they had like 1000 pre-orders in already and that was like what three weeks ago

kind of odd EU is quite a large market, maybe they under planned production and as @Digital Igloo mentioned preorder numbers are far exceeding their expectations

No, at the moment you have the pleasure of dropping a £99 deposit in the UK, but don't think it counts as an actual pre order in the standard sense

Was in Long and Mcquade today and caved gave them a deposit for the first run of the Stadium floor , hopefully be here by the end of the year

They have actually always been pretty good for me
I still have my FM9 so honestly no rush , just wanted the option and not be stuck on a 6 month back order list

No pre-order. I'd rather let a few years of development go by, have more agora sims added, see how they fare against fractal's offerings, have the capture function tested properly for accuracy vs NAM and the new Kemper profiling.. etc etc.

Don't get me wrong, there's many cool things about the new helix. I just don't see any hurry in my case. Fractal and some times NAM/tonex take care of most recording needs I have, and do it well.

I canceled my preorder at Sweetwater? Not because it doesn't look cool. But I have a FM3 that sounds amazing and does so much more than I can normally utilize, and the XL price is just too much for me to justify. I will wait and see what the general consensus is once out for a while and if really good, which I expect, and I can get a 15-20% off discount I might revisit in the future.
