Man, I really hope they expand this to their bass strings just so I can get .115's in a set I'll actually use again, instead of buying a set and throwing away the other 3 strings.

This is pretty badass, though. I'm content with their existing sets, but it's still cool to offer.

This would’ve been awesome back when I was playing 7s…. I tuned down to “drop G” at the time and would buy 8 string packs and just toss the 7th string

Cool idea. I could do a little math and come up with an equal tension set for perfect fourths tuning.

Lol I tuned my 26.5" scale 7 down to Meshuggah's F standard, it was ridiculous trying to find string for it - ended up boring a hole in the 7th tuner too. At the end of it all though it FUCKED I sold that guitar, and I want to be able to play their shit but I cannot stand 8 string headstock aesthetics so it's likely going to be an 8 string headless down the road for me.
