Clones and copies?

This having to have the last word German mentality is getting boring I’m done with this.

Well, it IS nonsense - all the pickup, bridge and whatever routing and drilling is done right here in Hannover. They don't even just show it in the video, no, I have actually seen it myself. But hey, keep sticking your head into the sand and support Eagle's fairytales.

But that’s not relevant as just about everything else you have said here.

It absolutely is important to this thread.

You can google up average living standards in Croatia vs. China.
Croatia is EU and only a few hours drive away from "central" Europe. That's a big difference to China, which, with all due respect to them being a huge supplier/manufacturer for the rest of the world, is basically a dictatorship and equals a 3rd world country outside of the big-ass cities.

Honesty, I don't care if it's for my own enjoyment. Why pay 250 when 50 will sound 95% the same. I understand that the "niche" pedal companies need our support as well but more often than not I just can't justify the price.
At some point like 8 out of 10 pedals on my pedalboard were clones or straight up copies. Actually I have never even owned a real tube screamer but I have had like 5 different clones which have been superb.

The stuff that goes on my board, which I use live and in the studio is all from reputable brands with a established track record of quality, reliability, service etc... because I don't want to end up having issues with it during a show etc

But I do have a few clones here of stuff that I wanted to try out or just have it on the side, but I just wouldn't use it enough to justify paying for the real one.

Sometimes, the clone also leads me to buying the real one later.
For example, months ago I got the Demonfx Precision Drive clone to try out the circuit. I liked it so much, I also ended up getting the real one (Horizon Devices) later, which I use it on my main board now. The original does sound better and seems much better made. But the clone is not bad either and it was a good introduction to that circuit. So it depends.

The 1:1 copy of enclosures, logos and names is weird though.

If you think the US is a third world country outside the big cities, you must have no knowledge of the US. If anything it's the opposite, the US is a pretty nice country outside of a few major cities.
It’s called a joke. Look it up!

Anyone who has been to an actual 3rd world country would not call the U.S. a third world country lol - ok aside from like Louisiana guys /s
