I have these:
If you're unfamiliar with this type, you mount the larger part onto your strap (it separates into 2 pieces by unscrewing), and you replace your stock buttons with the ones that come in this kit. In the pic to the right it shows all 3 pieces, the smallest piece is the actual button.)
That black part you see in the pictures is the release, that you squeeze between your thumb and finger, and it "plugs" into the button, and then you release it.
I wish I had understood how these work, because I may have bought a different type, because...
My thinking, especially since I only play at home, and just use 1 strap, I just want to unlock the strap, and plug it into a different guitar.
Which means, if I want to equip another guitar so I can do this, I only need the buttons. But it seems EB only sells them as a set.
Does anyone know of another brand that does sell those buttons separately, if they're compatible with the EB locks?
These are Dunlop, which might work, but Idk for sure. Do any of you?
