You can daisy-chain this NAM profile after your DI signal coming from the amp loaded with a Marshall 4x12 1960BV cab.
It should get you closer to a Mesa 4x12 OS Straight than a static IR can.
All I see is a flat line. the capture is empty...?
For now a recording of pink noise with whatever poweramp you have will do, I can apply an approximation of a reverse impedance curve EQ later.

Interesting - no, it shouldn't be empty. I used the 6505 with Resonance & Presence both on 0, hooked up to both my 1960BV cab (16 ohm) as well as the Mesa 4x12 OS Straight (8ohm) and trained a "Dry/Wet" profile using the 1960BV as the "Dry" and the OS Straight as "Wet".

Just the impedance curve difference?
Thank you but I need and actual recording of the cab as described in the first post.
If you zero Resonance and Presence a standard tube power amp will also do, I can undo the slight impedance imprint later.

I'll try the pink noise sometime later this week; my recording setup's fixed atm since I'm trying to finish reamping for the 6505 + 1960BV cab profiles.

Here are the pink noise recordings using my Mesa Traditional 4x12. 24-bit 48k WAV format for now. I can convert to flac later.
These are 8 ohm T4335 V30s: Top Left with 25EL date code, the rest with 18EL date codes.

I worked out a while back that the center of the speakers in this particular cab were 6.75 inches horizontally and 7 inches vertically off the front frame. Hopefully I didn't make any errors.

My own 2023 Marshall 1960BV measures just about the same as your 2002 Mesa Trad, what are the odds?
Celestion are on top of their game after the 2022 changes, whatever they may be.

The frequency response in that first graph looks almost identical. I wonder how audible the differences are.

The A800 works well enough for my hobbyist applications. I’ve thought about upgrading, but don’t know anything about solid state power amp quality.I had one in my Thomann basket for two days, but some sonofagun snatched the last one just before I was about to buy it today.

I have the older A500 and so far (and still) has served me very well for everything from driving hifi bookshelf speakers to guitar cabs with modelers, load boxes and capturing IRs.
Now I want to add the A800 for convenience due to its lighter weight.
I will try to find a good distance from the center of the cab between all four speakers to represent an overall sound of the cab without capturing too much room.
Here too we will use the SM57 due to its amazingly tiny unit-to-unit variation, and because everyone has one..or ten.
