Yeah the deluxe supposedly has volume drop problems as well so that's a no go. I have always lusted after the Way Huge stuff really across the board. If I really wanted to go nuts; the Suhr looks ridiculous too ESPECIALLY with onboard hi and low cuts for tone shaping. I can see low cut being super useful \m/


Edit for ixnay on the Carbon Copy. It's fine but too dark and the bright version isn't much better as well as feeling like a step backwards. Going to jam the DM.

The Vs are a "luthier's special" where I direct mounted humbuckers for the trumpets' sake. Very "rustic crafstmanship-y"; if you will

Yeah the DM waza is on my radar. Like $130ish used. I'm going to live with this for a few more weeks and see. The tones I use are delicious and the functionality with presets and tap tempo and really everything is FANTASTIC. I don't usually do the "I'M NOT USING ALL OF IT SO I CAN'T JUSTIFY IT" route but considering this is kind of the anti Axe III rig; that thought process is running parallel at the moment. We're rolling the dice and seeing!

Yesssssss. @DrewJD82 has me scoping out the Belle Epoch thing as well. Good handful of options in the analog realm.

I am curious to hear the carbon copy bright as a cheaper alternative. This is feature rich but I definitely don't see myself using the more esoteric modes. The 3 modes I am using though are ooof!

On another tip; this Micro Amp II as a boost is chunky AF with the Recto and this RAT clone is probably the best cheapie I have ever put on a board

It'd be hard for me to go back to a delay with modulation where I can't control both speed and depth of the modulation. That alone would be worth it for me.

There are some specific sweet spots on the modulation for me where it is not seasick but just really nice and thick sounding. It can also get pretty warbly if that is your jam. I definitely see where the hi and lo cuts in the Suhr are a great add. Just not sure if they are worth $200 more
