I have a Tube Screamer. Think it has about 34 minutes of use since I bought it in 2020. Meanwhile I probably have a few thousand hours on SDs.

I have used it in Helix.

I played a TS9 for years but once I got an OD-3 it took over and is still my favorite 3 knob OD.

The frequency response of a SD-1 is just right for boosting amps, add a touch of volume with a GE-7 and it's high gain heaven.
It was perfect in 1978 and still is in 2024.
