I've never owned an SD-1.
I've never owned an SD-1.
Do it. Now.I've never owned an SD-1.
Any differences in sound for you?I got one of the 50th anniversary SD-1's, to go with my stock MIT yellow one and one of the black 40th ones. Can never have too many SD-1's
As a company, yes, the major goal is to make money but I wouldn't say it's shameless though? They're priced fairly low and 50th ann. is a significant milestone. Plus there are new players all the time that have never tried a Boss, maybe one of these fits the bill? It's just a limited color that might appeal to someone. Not having an SD-1 is like not having a guitar cable.
The 50th Anniversary pedals look like a shameless cash grab, though.
What's funny, I got my DS-1 for $25, OD-3 for $30, and BD-2 for $25. So $80 total. I'd say that's a bargain!Do it. Now.
Used market -> usually 30-50 bucks, what could possibly go wrong?
The new yellow color is sexy, ngl.I got one of the 50th anniversary SD-1's, to go with my stock MIT yellow one and one of the black 40th ones. Can never have too many SD-1's
Or at least have it as a forever option?I totally got suckered and bought a black SD-1 when they came out. It currently keeps my 2 or 3 yellow ones company. They should just make the black standard.

Both. And Helix too.Real or Fractal??
