Mic 5/8" Away from grille cloth

Swapped pickups for fun in the R9 from Custombuckers to a set of Burstbuckers 2 & 3 that I had lying around. All settings otherwise same as above.

Suprisingly (or maybe not surprisingly) not much difference that I can hear... BB are a hair hotter.
