I recently bought a dl4 mkii and the line 6 ep1 exp pedal for the sole purpose of having a noise machine when I use the expression pedal to simulate that spacey worble effect that happens when the time and repeats parameters are being moved with a signal with delay is going through it. I was going to get the bozz waza craft 2mw delay with expression output after I saw this video of this guy reviewing the pair
I was gonna get the boss pedal but a friend convinced me to get the dl4 mkii since I'd have more options of different kind of delay tape manipulation sounds so I did and got the line expression pedal to go with it but upon trying it all out it feels like half the expression pedal isn't being used. I calibrated it several times to check and it still does not send me on a wild spacey worble ride where I have noticable controls over the parameters, the sound it makes is different than the sound it makes when I turn the actual knobs to do the same parameters changes I set with the pedal. The ep1 line 6 expression pedal seems to not have much heel to toe travel space is that the issue? Someone please help do I need to get a dif pedal or does the dl4 not offer as detailed parameter control with an expression pedal like it can if you are physically moving the knobs
