Only played a couple and not for long.
Underwhelming for me but they are not my thing.
The bridge seems well constructed but still has all the usual issues. The tuners are cheap oem which is a bit off at this point. The neck wood is more Epiphone than PRS . Quirky but not seeing anything like the money in it . Sorry to be negative but I am probably not the one to see the positive in this. It’s reasonable quality built and sounds are seriously affected by this style of bridge acoustically, a big no for me.
It’s clear that cam-style bridges are not your thing 😊 I find the Powers CamTail intriguing as it offers some of the functionality of the Steinberger TransTrem by keeping the strings mostly in tune when you use the bar. Rick Toone has a new trem that does something similar that looks intriguing as well (https://www.ricktoone67.com/tremolo).

The Toon thing it just a Trem king variant really. Nothing new. All the innovation is in the Fender Strat bridge and the Floyd. The cam shit all owes its core design to bigsby and that is not a plus.

Thanks for the tips, Andy! I'm putting D'Addario 10s on my Strats. I'll try and correct the witness point, but at this point I'm pretty sure that the Vega won't stay.
The Gotoh might work with the screw spacing, the old trem has about 57 mm between the farthest screws.
Thanks again!

I had a Trem King on the Strat which now has the Vega Trem installed and didn’t like it. I didn’t feel connected to the strings like I do with a fulcrum Trem, if that makes sense. I like the feel of the Vega though.
