Of course, you should definitely use your ears to dial in theThanks.... but I actually prefer to use my ears.![]()
Sigh. Another EL84 amp. Disappointing. Victory nailed it with the Kraken, pushing 50w into a lunchbox. I’m surprised other companies aren’t following suit, it’s the best design out there in mini heads. EL84s do not hold up at volume with a band and they have squishy midrange.New ENGL amp revealed:

E725 Ravager IR - ENGL Amplification
The ENGL E725 RAVAGER is a powerhouse for modern guitarists who need a flexible, compact amp without compromising on tone.www.engl-amps.com
Looks like a stripped down Ironball to me.I am curious to find out how it differs from the Ironball.

Fireball 25 SEWho is designing the amps at these places? I get lunchboxes probably sell the best but if they just took the Fireball 25 and added all the features of the Iron ball, it would outsell both of them![]()
We all would. If they released a savage 25 with full size power tubes and at the same price as the fireball 25 I would buy day 1
Whoa I didn't realize how tiny it is. I'm not fan of EL84s, but I am impressed with the size. I'd have to check the dimensions but it looks slightly smaller than a Mini Rectifier here. Insane engineering to include all that in a package this small.

Still wildly impressive. You could fit it on a pedalboard. It's slightly larger and heavier than the mini rec.
(W x H x D) in mm
Mini rec: 320 x 150 x 172
Ravager IR: 345 x 160 x 195
Weight:
Mini rec: 5.5 kg
Ravager IR: 6.05 kg
