Sigh. Another EL84 amp. Disappointing. Victory nailed it with the Kraken, pushing 50w into a lunchbox. I’m surprised other companies aren’t following suit, it’s the best design out there in mini heads. EL84s do not hold up at volume with a band and they have squishy midrange.New ENGL amp revealed:

Looks like a stripped down Ironball to me.
ENGL has full size tubes in their FB25, so yes, I'm surprised they're not following their own way.
I'm also surprised that it's not a Savage25 instead.
Although from what someone posted on YouTube, the Ravage is supposedly based on the Savage. Whereas the Ironball is based on the Powerball. I just think they'd both make it clearer to the customers, plus get more sales, if they actually did "Powerball 25" and "Savage 25", as they did with the Fireball 25. But what do I know..

Who is designing the amps at these places? I get lunchboxes probably sell the best but if they just took the Fireball 25 and added all the features of the Iron ball, it would outsell both of them

Whoa I didn't realize how tiny it is. I'm not fan of EL84s, but I am impressed with the size. I'd have to check the dimensions but it looks slightly smaller than a Mini Rectifier here. Insane engineering to include all that in a package this small.
It's slightly larger and heavier than the mini rec.

Oh for sure! Super small! Also sounds really cool IMO. A bit unsure about the choice of power tubes though, but pleasantly surprised with the tone in the demos so far
