A lot of people will disagree with my hardware modeler ranking

Super easy, set your scenes and use the software to configure the foot switches. First press, scene 1. Second press, scene 2, etc.... you will see the scene names in a list in large fonts too. Plus you can name each switch. I do this for 8 scenes plus tap tempo and tuner. Nothing external needed.

You can do something sort of similar with the Boss units and their CurNum modifier. Pretty neat as well.

It took me way too long to dig deeper into the flexibility of the Fractal foot switching system, but you can do some insane stuff. I’ve been deep in the FC Edit rabbit hole lately.

Fwiw, I like these nifty options. The HX series' Command Center has quite some stuff on offer, too.
But, and that's something I already noticed quite some years ago already: In case I don't use more complexed things for a while (regardless whether it's about switching, programming or any kind of nested organisation, regardless whether it's guitar stuff, synth patches or wicked DAW routings and patchings), I'm having a hard time to reverse engineer what I was coming up with.
Has been extremely noticeable with the Helix' snapshots - because they don't even offer a visual overview of what's happening, so it's pretty easy to get lost.
And fwiw, that's why I also don't like kitchen sink presets too much (conversely, I do really love slapping them together).

Kemper Player is extremely flexible with its switches, too. I have it set like this:

Left - clean with delay
Left press again - turn off delay and turn on tremolo

Middle - ambient
Middle press again - ambient swells

Right - crunch with a little reverb
Right press again - lead tone with delay and boost

Expression pedal heel down for tuner (delay and reverb trails continue)
Left and middle together - tempo sense
Right and middle together - tap tempo (works perfectly)

Wow, you guys are still here? Cool! :)

We're discussing Irish tap dancing (on footswitches)
