Pretty awesome. This guy mixed Reaper and Neural DSP VSTs with a Scarlett interface in a Steam Deck. He did have to install Windows, but this could be accomplished with the Ally X, Legion Go, or other Windows-based handheld even easier.

While that's probably the normal usage, I've seen posts with the fucking things on a pedalboard with a DI, onstage. I'm not saying it's cool, or a good idea. But.....you know. Nerds gonna nerd.
