I tried to buy a delay today GC, but both of the ones I tried were broken out of the box
Didnt give me warm fuzzy feelings about their quality
The one I got is a bit funky too, the delay level is really weak. Haven’t mucked with it yet, but I’m planning on it this weekend.

I wonder why they're so cheap??

Yep, manufacturing issues more than likely. Sucks for the brand. I love them purely based on retro aesthetics though.GC is blowing them out, but so is Long & McQuade in Canada. That kinda rules out the “Oops, we ordered too many” theory. Unless both companies buried themselves in inventory…

Gibson probably made them buy so damn many. The pedals don't seem to be that quality, which sucks for people who bought them at full price.
They ordered a standard batch which in hindsight is "we ordered too many"GC is blowing them out, but so is Long & McQuade in Canada. That kinda rules out the “Oops, we ordered too many” theory. Unless both companies buried themselves in inventory…
Put it on a shelf behind you while you demo the newest and greatest piece of gear that will make every musician's life 50 times easier/better?They wouldn’t be saying they ordered too many (or drastically dropping the price) if they were selling. I dig how they look but I have no idea what I’d do with one.
They are janky looking for sure.I saw these in person and they looked like junk. I could be 100% wrong but it was enough to make me keep walking past them.
