So I went back to my local GC today to get the Ranger OD and the Titan Boost. I found a nice Les Paul Studio and plugged it into a Marshall in the expensive stuff room. Both those pedals worked great and sounded good, so I snagged 'em.

After reading a couple negative posts here, I was curious about the Discoverer Delay pedal. So I tried out the last one they had and it sounded good. I adjusted the output knob and matched the volume level with the effect off and on and adjusted the mix knob to match the volume level between the original signal and the delay signal with the effect on. Volumes levels matched good and the pedal sounded good and felt robust and sturdy.

I ended up not getting the delay pedal though because I had already bought 4 diffrent Maestro pedals in the last 2 days and I already had a good analog Delay.

So far I tested 9 diffrent ones of these Maestro pedals and all 9 of them worked as they should.

I wondered about that too. However yesterday they had one of each of the 9 flavors of pedals in the display case. And today they only had maybe 4 or 5 left. The dude at the counter checked and the only one that he had left in the back that wasn't on display was the chorus. Yesterday, the 1st day of the sale when I bought my fuzzes, they only had one fuzz on display and one fuzz in back. So either they're selling like hotcakes, or they din't have a massive amount to start with.

I'm curious now, so I'm gonna follow these in the next few months and see if they discontinue the line, or come out with a new line, or stop making them altogether.

What output knob do you mean?

I saw Delay, Mix, and Sustain. I tried everything and the first one had no sound at all coming out and the second one was extremely low signal at all settings. I looked all over that pedal for some other controller I might be missing and didn’t see anything. I even tried reversing the input and output jacks just to see if it was a manufacturing defect. Both brand new in the box
