Every cover I uploaded got a copyright hit ...look at it as a compliment I suppose 🤷🏻‍♂️

@LeftyLoungeLizard gets them on sound cloud too!

They key on the vocals, because if I only use the drums & bass tracks, I can usually get away with a cover and not get a copyright strike.

I guess that's what the AI is looking for (vocal track).

Id normally agree, but I did one that didn't have vocal....and got hit there too.

Their system just compares .wav .mp3 .flac etc files of the original versus yours. Yeah usually if you keep the vox out you'll be fine.

Aside from that, greasy little douchebags from different record companies / bands scour the internet for "copies" and do RIAA reporting.

I've had lots of copyright strikes over the years; Soundcloud as well as on my YouTube channel.

Rumor has it Don Henley sits in front of his laptop all day and all night with his fruity little crappacino, a cigarette and his robe open; scouring the internet for Eagle clones... and when he finds one, he reports them with a big shit eating grin... then gets all "intimate" with himself.

Oh man....I got plans.....it's a challenge...for me anyway.

I don't care about monetization... especially if I can post and they host.....just for this place. The 5 that even click the link.

I did do 2 covers -- reluctantly -- :grin.
Manic Depression and a mashup of 316/Tears in the Rain (VH/Satriani). The first would most definitely get flagged on youtube because it's the actual drums, bass and vocal stems. But I only posted them in Audius anyways.
