Yay!!! NGD for Jer! It’s GOOOOOOLD!

Well, I have wanted a proper Goldtop for some time now, and thanks to my boy Michael Lickliter (Lickliter Amps) and a solid “bro deal”, this guys is now mine.

It’s a 2005 Standard. Plays killer, and has a nice chonk of a neck. The stock pickups sound killer, but may still swap them out.

I think the Goldtop is probably my favorite LP finish ever. I MAY start steel wool’ing the neck to satin it up a bit.

Thanks! It’s already checking a little bit around the post holes for the bridge and a few other spots…

1. LP is awesome so duh on that.

2. Someone needs to make good clips. The ones I've seen were like clock radio found footage level stuff

Haha...about twelve years ago, not long after I got my R0 back from Historic Makeovers, I set it out on the deck for about an hour on a 7 degree night.......needless to say it checked nicely when I brought back in..........
