Quick answer to the question: Seemingly me.
I went to an actual brick and mortar (sadly no mom and pop in it) store, tested the Nano Metal Muff through a Waza head with 4x12 Waza box (that's what they had in that room) and did not part with it.
Such a chunky, raw and often nasty distortion. THE most funky and sensible 3 band EQ I have ever encountered. A flick on the knob can get you from bees in a can to hollow mids. Like a distortion pedal banged a fuzz and they gave birth in an old car. I mean, it surely says Muff on it for a reason. I love the gate. Could have more dials, but for the 69€ I spent at leasg I got a gate included.
I am not a big pedal guy. Never was. I was and am a multi FX guy.
Anyway, you ever get this urge in your guts where it's like "I need something - anything - new!!!"? You sure know it: GAS (Gas and guts, funny).
I haven't bought a new pedal in years. This is an amazing feeling. Is that what GAS feels like again?
