Last big band I saw was Wasp in Nottingham.

Testament is coming to London next month and I cant find anyone to go with me :nails

Destruction and Obituary as support act…

I might see them in Birmingham if I cant go to London.

I just saw Symphony X with Sonata Arctica the other night in Phoenix. I've been a fan of SA for a long time and it was so great to see them live after all these years. I've never seen them tour the US.

Symphony X was awesome, as expected. Personally I'd have loved to hear more from them off their Divine Wings or Twilight on OIympus albums, but that's probably just me because those two albums specifically take me back to a pivotal time in my life.

Just came back from Copenhagen. Saw Megadeth and Disturbed over the weekend. It was their 25th anniversary The Sickness tour.

Megadeth was excellent. They played so well, sounded huge and apart from the highest notes Dave's vocals were on point. Teemu Mäntysaari was a great match for Mustaine's playing. We want to see them again so I hope they come somewhere close by for their final tour.

My spouse was over the moon. Megadeth is her favorite band so I'm really happy we got to see them live.

I've never been a Disturbed fan. I knew only their biggest hits. It was a bit of a letdown after Megadeth. David Draiman sounded good, but I felt like he deserves a much better band. A lot of their songs sounded quite similar to me, and Dan Donegan's playing sounded like a muddy stereotype Dual Rectifier sound that was generally just boring. The band for some reason got off stage for a bit after like every song to do something, then came back for the next one.

Megadeth as an opener for Disturbed was a weird move, but at least tickets were pretty reasonable for a stadium gig. Lots of people in the arena.

Copenhagen as a city is really beautiful, and they have great pastries! But it's also a very expensive city even by Finnish standards. Really liked just walking around and seeing the sights.

Styx was our last show in Tampa.. We saw Sammy at the same venue the week before

Taking the wife to see the Eagles in the Sphere next week..

Her and my musical tastes are a bit different :grin

I saw The Who early in September and it was a great show! I was really surprised as to how good they sounded considering how old they are. Amazing!

Saw Judas Priest and Alice Cooper on Monday night of this week and it was a fantastic show! Literally, I could have gone home after Priest and been happy but then Alice and Co. came out and did an amazing job. Nita was fabulous as well! Really enjoyed both shows.

Now that's a lineup! We're hoping Judas Priest would come to Finland or some nearby country soon, they kicked ass when I saw them last year. Would love to see Alice Cooper too.
