This is another of Jim’s brilliant videos

is there a video where he uses a table sawThis kid's usage of weights for clamps is offensive.
Shit, more than that, no handle on that drill. This kid's usage of weights for clamps is offensive.
The coolest thing about this vid is the gigantic hole cutter bit.![]()
Yep, you can break a wrist with those electric drills.Shit, more than that, no handle on that drill.
I've used hole saws, and they'll twist your arm off w/o one! Tone-where-it-comes-from/who-gives-a-shit be damned!
Which is the thing I don't like about Jim Lill. He runs on a premise, then doesn't check the existing research into the subject. He makes entertaining videos but they are not scientific and should not be taken as gospel like many seem to do.It comes from the speakers first, size and shape second, and then any leaks, ports, openings and flexible parts that resonate.
That and the color of the Tolex.
Speaker design is not a big mystery. Seriously, this is actually well studied and somewhat settled science in the rest of the audio world. Hifi designers know exactly what influences the sound and seek to eliminate anything they can’t control. Their results look nothing like guitar cabs.
