That's insane. 1960BV is 799 euros or ~$882 in EU at Thomann, incl 24% VAT. Probably even cheaper in the UK.I checked the price at Sweetwater.
$1,900 for a 4x12.
Wow!
I'm glad I picked up my Rivera and Fryette 4x12s used for $600 each. The new prices are mind blowing for those of us who bought our gear over a decade ago.
Thus my post about buying in the country of manufacture unless there are compelling reasons not to do so.That's insane. 1960BV is 799 euros or ~$882 in EU at Thomann, incl 24% VAT. Probably even cheaper in the UK.

Diezel is great for chug chug …. Its obese fatgood Choices for sure ,
For me I always lusted after the Dzl , and all the modern boutique High gainers , a few year back
But I have come to realize that a boosted Recto is just a classic for that genre , nothing really sounds like it , its strange and maybe a boring choice , but it has a Sound .
Just like I think the JCM w a boost is a staple
Try the Driftwood before buying.Based on brand loyalty/ in theory: Mesa Mk VII.
Based on profiles/ captures I’ve recently heard: ENGL Blackmore, Driftwood Purple Nightmare.
Thank you for the heads up. But one benefit of a “dream amp” is I’ll probably never see one in my waking life, let alone buy one.Try the Driftwood before buying.
I like it but they can be very stiff.
That and it's what, $4500. That's wild!I think I would like Diezel VHX, but the manual, lack of normal reviews (@GuitarJon please do your magic), lack of digital IO kinda makes me uncomfortable. I'm almost 100 percent sure they use powerful off the shelf chips with integrated digital io, yet do not expose it. Their converters aren't that vintage yet. Plus amp staffed with relays. Why not to add one or two to cut digital from signal path?
