What's preventing you from getting a Helix Stadium (if you really want to buy it eventually)?

If you’re not capable of being objective that’s ok but there’s a reason touring guitarists opt for everything other than Line6. It’s close but it isn’t there, yet.

My opinion is they should have launched with a little more incentive to actually buy it, which includes improved effects.

The Stadium will be ok, no matter whether or not DB digs it. We have certainly all been around the block on all this gear with people bent out of shape over this or that. Myself included :ROFLMAO:

I don't care if people take digs at it from good faith positions, but DB obviously ain't one of them and I won't respond to him further.

There are bugs or features people would love to have from other units (e.g. Channels, global blocks, etc.) or content missing that people can take legitimate issue with. Happy to chop it up with people discussing that, not FUD pulled from their netherregions.

Thanks. I'll give a go! Description looks like a variation on 'Tires' kind of thing. Wife is back and forth on the work place comedy style so we'll see. I'm trying to think of the last new comedy we watched? St. Dennis is probably it and she is kind of over it. Certinaly a lot more than I am as my moronic humor tolerance is a bit higher :ROFLMAO:

The "workplace" element quickly gets pushed to the side for absurdist asides of every type. It is an unapologetically black show, but the humor really is universal and exquisitiely layered.

Selling a new product that’s barely an improvement on the previous generation and charging premium prices is not ideal. It’s next gen but at best literally equals the current gen of products from other companies? Weird.
I have mixed feelings about HX, and no experience (yet) with Agoura, but this is absolutely ridiculous. There are a lot of features to distinguish Stadium from the competition (Focus view, Showcase), and more to come. Whether you personally want them or not is another story, but it's simply inaccurate to say Stadium "literally equals the current gen of products from other companies."

It's also "weird" to call out Line 6 for selling a "next gen" product on par with "current gen" competition. They're all for sale now; they're all current gen. Your competition is your competition full stop.

Not at all actually, I want them to make a product that is able to compete at the top level, as that’s better for everyone. The Helix is great, I have an LT and it’s a solid product, but when you plug into a QC or an FM9 you notice a huge difference.
Please define "compete".

Could it be that - unless they're touring from their mom's house to their uncle's house - the tour likely started before the Stadium was even released?

Even if we're talking about Helix and before, there are a kazillion rig rundowns of people touring these products - and yes, a lot of them are heavily using the "old" and "outdated" effects that Line 6 gets so much gruff over including in Stadium XL/Floor.

Helix has provided the amp tones for Converge, Deftones, The Dear Hunter, Twelve Foot Ninja and a host of other bands who could easily afford and opt for another solution, but again...we know this isn't a good faith argument.

Please tell us about all the products you have been product manager for and tell us how successful they were at launch and over the following decade. Line6 is doing very well with Stadium so far, helix and the pod lines were big successes as well.

Since we’re being objective and all, were you equally outraged when NDSP shat out the QC with a laundry list of promised features and then gaslit their users for years when they didn’t deliver?

L6 is currently on par to deliver exactly what they’ve stated they would.

Of course not, he is one of the forum shills on the NDSP payroll.

The tin foil hat paranoia is incredible just because someone isn’t agreeing that the stadium is all that.
So you played one? Did you buy and return it? Borrowed? Played in guitar center at least? Or just flinging poo without any experience with it?
