Either depending on strings and set up. The Mexican version is the sweet spot. The USA version offers almost nothing useful over it.
Thanks. The one I saw was Mexican. Is US$649 reasonable?

If it’s perfect condition. Don’t expect to much from the acoustic tone is terms of fullness but do expect sustain and good fundamentals. Then the pickup and preamp can full out the plugged in tone. It uses irs of good acoustic tone . Very good for live performance.Thanks. The one I saw was Mexican. Is US$649 reasonable?
A JVM and an Edwards LPS… 5 out of 5 beards!Inspired by @TheTrueZoltan! , I'm putting some hours on my Edwards LPS purchased from @KyleBull.
same hereI've never really been into SGs but recently I've been gassing hard for one.
Thanks, I wish I could claim any sort of responsibility. I got really lucky on a totally blind purchase on a musiciansfriend sale.I've never really been into SGs but recently I've been gassing hard for one. Really nice grain on that one.
Are you guys both pretty comfortable on a Les Paul? I’m in LP land a lot and have to say the SG seems to pull off everything I’m getting from my LPs just with less weight.same here

It maybe feels a little different because of the guitar balancing on the body slightly different, but def feels like a Gibson.
I feel this. I’d love an SG Special as well. The P90s bring enough difference to the table to warrant owning both.LPs are why I never really looked at SGs to be honest. For me Gibson order of preference was always Les Paul, 335, LP Special and then P90 loaded SG.
Recently I've spent an awful lot of time looking at Pelham Blue SGs and TV Yellow SG Juniors.
