Today it's a Epiphone Casino. It's fully hollow body, so it's louder acoustically than a semi-hollow body guitar and got a pretty nice acoustic tone too.

Swamp ash is usually light to very light but it can go to around 4.5 lbs on an unloaded Strat body. Anything above that would usually be described as northern hard ash.
