One of my favorite necks on the planet, playabilty is as good as ot gets for me. (Even with .12 flats on it)
Not the most reasonant archtop, but that’s “as designed”, build to survive loud stages but yet get that “archtopsound” from your amp.

Playing my Aristides H/07R, but not posting a picture since there are already some in previous posts in this thread.

The more I play this instrument, the more I appreciate it's form, function, and quality. At first I was not accustomed to the frequency response of the Lundgren M series pickups, but now I recognize how well they are tuned to add the perfect amount of crispy cut and definition when blasting through all 7 strings into a super high gain amp.

TBH I’ve never given that question a thought in the four years I’ve had it .
It plays like a nice guitar sounds great unplugged or plugged in .
It’s been back in its case once to go to my sons other than that it’s always to hand around the place..

Either depending on strings and set up. The Mexican version is the sweet spot. The USA version offers almost nothing useful over it.
