What Guitar Are You Playing At This Very Moment...

This is my messy world today. Getting a rig together for a run starting tonight.

My LP came down with a noisy wiring problem yesterday so I’m scrambling to change everything over to use the theatercaster and Strat instead

I’m a little scared because I’ve never played a show with such a small rig, but I think it’s going to be a fun challenge

Love that album /LP at the top of your picture.👍

After watching this video of Colin’s earlier.

I thought I would get my Young Blud SG and Billie Joe Armstrong junior ot for a play and comparison ?
I have changed the knobs on both to speed knobs.

Funny, I’ve been playing my JEM the last couple of weeks and after the 3rd or 4th day it started feeling great again. It was almost like I had to massage it a bit to get it to loosen up, or maybe it was just my fingers getting used to a wide, flat neck after playing Strats and LPs for so long.

Not really experiencing any sustain issues I felt were related to the nut being shimmed so high. Almost every time I’ve played it, at some point I’ve thought “Now I remember why I loved this thing so damn much” because when that thing plays great it’s so damn effortless and there’s really no limitations from a playing standpoint.

It feels like guitars sulk for a bit if you don't play them for a while and they need some time before they feel right again.

I don’t agree I’ve had a few guitars I’ve not bonded with since day one how ever much I’ve tried.
I’ve got this great sounding Gibson SG that I’ve tried to like over a few years but just don’t like the neck on it.

I'm talking about guitars I like that I haven't played for a while, not ones I've never bonded with. I don't keep guitars I don't bond with. Why would you keep a guitar with a neck that you don't like?
