Being a million percent honest fellas:
After prolly’ 5 seconds, of the start of
playing the guitar
I immediately get seated in with my right hand.
Get it going & flowing, ‘riff the skip’ and get that
up & down picking while skipping the strings to where it sounds nearly like a chord being accurately strummed but I’m picking it all in time.
It doesn’t always work out but if I keep at it a bit
and mine that seam a little further..something groovy surfaces.
I owe this ambitious practice habit to one of my captains of creativity & #5 favorite guitarist of all time Andy Summers.
This weird thing I do started from giving this song a surgical & faithful listen.. that guitar synth is RAD!
And the rad A to D thingy riff in the choruses is dope AF.
“Be more like Andy , Jaybird”
AND gotta mention how super bad to the bone Copeland is..DAYUM.. raw.. his use of
power & dynamics is untouchable in this song.
