Love that stuff! I don't drink Pop or Soda at all anymore. And when I want to splurge on
some non-alcohol carbs I'll grab one of those and/or an Arnold Palmer Half & Half. Yum.


Funny thing is today I cleaned out the car after a roadtrip to Texas for Thanksgiving, and
I found two of those bottles under the driver's seat.

My alcohol choices have become very traditional and pretentious as I get older:

• Beer that conforms with reinheitsgebot served at room temperature
• Lagavulin neat

Scotch keeps going up in price, like everything else, but I think more so.

So, I've been a bit mad that I gave up home brewing when we moved to GA. I did some research, and wow, things have changed in 7/8 years! Fermenting under pressure with a spunding valve, oxygen free transfers from fermenter-->keg, all-in-one brew systems, and way more.

The pressure fermenting was the biggest change, I used to ferment for a month, now it's 7 days for the stuff I like (APA and IPA).

I got the equipment I needed and a kegerator, and the pic below is my 3rd batch, an American Pale Ale. It's pretty damn good!
